It's important for me to continue to paint when I'm feeling sneezy, grumpy, happy, sleepy, dopey or bashful. I don't feel a bit guilty if I take a day off when I'm feeling normal because I don't believe normalcy merits any further investigation.
I got a BFA from Tyler School of Art and a Masters from the University of Georgia. I was a better than fair pool player. At one point, at the height of my game, when I was as good as I ever was, I got beat by a guy with one arm. I want to say it was his left arm that was missing. That was around fifteen years ago. I don't play much pool anymore, I'm a part time faculty member of a community college, and I spend most of my time in my studio. Home
