VILLAINS
A
Juried Show Exploring the Theme of “Villains”
n.
1. A wicked or evil person; a scoundrel.
2. A dramatic or fictional character who is typically at
odds with the hero.
3. (also vĭl'ān', vĭ-lān') Variant of villein.
4. Something said to be the cause of particular trouble or
an evil: poverty, the villain in the increase of crime.
Obsolete. A peasant regarded as vile and brutish.
The
show is open to any form of 2D media, and is strictly Black and White. This means
no color or grays. Image must be on
16”x20” paper of any weight (image may be smaller but surface size is very
specific.). All accepted artists will be notified by e-mail. The show will be
open to the public from the first Saturday in June to the middle of July.
To
Enter:
Images must be submitted on a CD disk. You may enter up to three 8”x10” images with a resolution of 72 dpi. Discs will not be returned. . The entry fee is $5.00 per image. Cash or checks accepted. Cash or checks accepted. Checks should be made payable to Rural Research Laboratories.
You
may mail or deliver your entry before April 23, 2008.
Hand
delivered entrees will be accepted Saturdays noon to four at

Conditions
of Entry

The show is open to any form of 2D

Agreement
of Show
•
All accepted works to be delivered un-matted
and un-framed by Saturday May 17, 2008 between the hours of noon and 4p.m. (We
will handle all framing)
•
All accepted works must be picked up
by Saturday July 26, 2008 between the hours of noon and 4p.m.
•
If works are delivered any size other
than 16”x20” they will be rejected.
•
Works cannot be pulled during the run
of the show.
•
Rural Research Laboratories is not
interested in selling your work. Patrons interested in purchase will be
referred to the artist directly.
